Dr. Patel has over 15 years of experience in psychiatric research. His clinical experience includes a one year residency in General Surgery and 3 years as a resident in Psychiatry and then finally, two years as resident of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Dr. Patel began his basic medical education in India where he finished a Bachelor of Medicine in Surgery. He continued his education in New York, Austin, and Houston. Dr. Patel is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology in Psychiatry and in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He is licensed by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners and a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
John E. Marcellus, M.D.

Dr. Marcellus has been working in Psychiatry for 11 years. He started with a three-year residency in General Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine in Texas and finished another three years as a Resident of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the same school. He went on work at Baylor in Texas Children’s Hospital and then in 1998 he began a private practice and until now serves as a consultant to NASA for astronauts and families of astronauts. He began clinical drug investigation with Wharton in 2008 but only after being a founding member of Greater Houston Psychiatric Associates.
John Marcellus became a Doctor of Medicine after finishing his medical degree at the University of Mississippi. He continued his education at Baylor in Texas where obtained Board Certification in 1999 and 2000.
Matthew Brams, M.D.

Dr. Brams has over 10 years of experience in psychiatric research. He graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center of Houston in 1987, and completed his residencies in Adult and in Child Psychiatry in 1992.
Dr. Brams is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology in Psychiatry and in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He is licensed by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners and a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
